Building Habits to Win, in three ebook formats below
There are some parents who get a little concerned when they see the word "win" being aimed at grade school kids. If your folks are some of them, maybe try asking them, "Well, who wants to lose?"
OK, if that doesn't work, ask them to think about winning this way: “Winning” is what you call accomplishing anything you want!
So we're not thinking of "winning" in terms of beating someone else at something. We're thinking of winning as anytime you decide to do something, and then you make it happen; that's winning!
The kinds of things that help gifted kids win is if they think in winning ways all of the time, and then take winning actions based on winning thinking. The big power here is that even if your first try at something doesn't work quite like you want, your thinking habits won't let you quit trying, and that's a very good thing.
